Rapid demand for new solutions propels company growth, Alchemista appoints board advisors Kevin Cameron, Bruce A. Percelay and Stephen Gregorio

To support its growth and rapid demand for its modular marketplaces, Alchemista also announced it is expanding its team with executives Kevin Cameron, Bruce A. Percelay and Stephen Gregorio joining as board advisors. Cameron is regional manager at Equity Residential, one of the largest owners of residential properties in the U.S. with stake or ownership in 310 properties consisting of 80,000+ apartment units. Percelay is chairman and founder of The Mount Vernon Company, a leading real estate investment firm with 1,800 apartments, five hotels and commercial and vacation properties. Gregorio has been a CFO at numerous high-tech companies and brings extensive financial experience and counsel to Alchemista.

Cameron, Percelay and Gregorio join tech CEO, investor and entrepreneur Lou Shipley, who joined Alchemista board of directors in 2020.

The Locket by Alchemista gives its customers a hyper-customizable footprint with options for one or multiple modules. Its high-tech food lockers serve local food with unmatched convenience and safety using UV sanitation to kill 99.9% of all bacteria. Custom menus are developed weekly, with each meal made within miles of the building location and available within hours for consumption. The Locket is also available as an additional module that is packed with everything from unique finds and creations from local artisans to pet treats and spa amenities.

Originally imagined as a bespoke corporate catering company serving brands like Atlassian and TripAdvisor, Alchemista expanded its product and service offerings in 10 short months to meet changing market demands for both brands and consumers. The Locket by Alchemista is available in corporate and high-end residential settings in and around Boston, as well as Modernas corporate headquarters in Cambridge, Mass. Alchemista is actively rolling out The Locket marketplaces across 10 properties with plans to expand to 40 more.
