Since the 1990s, E & H Services has been dealing with the issue of persistent organic pollutants (POPs), especially after the signing of the Stockholm Convention. This placed obligations on states to monitor substances systematically in all environmental compartments and also to dispose of them using the best available techniques (BAT).

But, what does this have to do with the cannabis issue?

WeIt showed that E & H Services’ analytical and technological knowledge was absolutely essential to remove these substances from the plants that are grown outdoors. In fact, there were findings of extracts that were up to 80% contaminated with these substances. In this context, the company has also found methods to identify clean fields that are highly likely to be for outdoor cannabis cultivation. If extracts are contaminated, the company makes high performance purification steps.

Since the beginning of the great cannabis boom, CannabiLab has watched the quality requirements for cannabis products change. In the beginning, the level of quality is still quite low.
Their knowledge has led for getting the broadest certification in both analyses and cannabis manufacture. Namely, ISO9001, ISO 17025, HACCP, ISO for cosmetics, and currently EU-GMP for the manufacture of extracts for medical purposes. All those certifications make CannabiLab as unique on the market, bringing highest possible standards, that is desperately missing in the market.

“For cannabis, where standards are not yet set and are still evolving, there you have the opportunity to go down the path of endless experimentation—testing them and finding the best way with minimal risks. That's where the strong analytical facilities of mass spectrometry that we have in-house helps, from simple MS to more complex MSn, to HRMS, to LC or GC separation,” says Dr. Tomas Ocelka, the CEO of E & H Services.

With cannabis, CannabiLab performs almost the same operations, regardless of their active ingredient levels. These are the operations of isolation of the active substances (= extraction), their purification and the formulation of the final products, including packaging. Analytical systems enter into production to check the quality and the specifications set. In some cases, CanabiLab creates new prototypes to see what maximum utility they can have.

The benefits of E & H Services’ products are that they keep clients coming back, and they are successful in the marketplace. For example, the CannMedior CannPets brands are a certain representations of what is possible in terms of products. However, there are cosmetic products that E & H Services has refused to do with just CBD. And, so far has refused HHC that is substance with uncontrolled quality. The company insists on the maximum effect of the full spectrum of cannabinoids, including THC. There are also not all the options that touch on production for humans and animals. Beverages are also an interesting avenue, which is not easy in terms of logistics. The production possibilities are almost endless.

Truly, E & H Services, Inc., Cannabilab is ready to improve our lives by bringing novel, distinctive solutions, supporting environmental protection and the health status of the planet using the best available technologies.
