The Craemer Group has unveiled its new, entirely anti-slip top-decked plastic pallet, which gives operators better grip and sanitation.
FREMONT, CA: Craemer Group, a market leader in plastic pallets, storage containers, and transport containers, launches the TC3-5 Palgrip®, an enclosed plastic pallet with an anti-slip top deck that prioritizes safety and cleanliness.
“COVID-19 has proven the need to keep hygiene and safety a top priority within workforces,” says Axel Breitkreuz, President of Craemer US Corporation. “We’re proud of what our TC3-5 Palgrip® plastic pallet offers. It’s safe to use, easy to clean, and all runners have chamfered edges on both sides for rigorous use within today’s fast-moving warehouses.”
The TC3-5 Palgrip is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic and is ideal for hygienic-first operations since the top, and bottom decks are entirely closed. Without voids or ribs, the design provides excellent protection against contamination or water infiltration. Additionally, it has the highest impact resistance, breaking strength, and solid wall thickness of any pallet on the market due to proprietary welding.
Popular in the pharmaceutical, chemical, and food industries, the newest member of the TC family now includes Craemers' patented Palgrip® for extra safety. It is resistant to temperatures ranging from -22° F (-30° C) to 104° F (40° C). It provides absolute slip resistance " even when wet or in high humidity conditions, making it ideal for dairy and oil and gas applications.
With a weight of only 52 lb (23.5 kg), the TC3-5 Palgrip® supports static weights up to 16,500 lb (7,500 kg), dynamic loads up to 3,300 lb (1,500 kg), and racking systems up to 2,800 lb (1,250 kg). Pallets with embedded RFID transponders are also available and can be used with roller conveyors and automated high rack systems. By installing five optional steel reinforcement rods, the racking capacity can be increased to 4,400 lb (2,000 kg).
