Impossible Sausage Made From Plants is now available directly to consumers at Kroger, Safeway, Stop & Shop, and Sprouts Farmers Market, among other shops nationwide.

FREMONT, CA: Impossible Foods declares that Impossible Sausage Made From Plants is now available in retail locations in ground sausage form for the first time. Impossible Sausage is available in savory and spicy flavors at Kroger, Ralphs, King Soopers, Fred Meyer, Safeway, Albertsons, Wegmans, Stop & Shop Hannaford, Giant Martin's, Giant Food, Sprouts Farmers Market, and Heinen's, among others.

Impossible Sausage is the company's first all-new product since 2016's blockbuster ImpossibleTM Burger. The sausage was added to the menus of Yelp's 30 Best American Diners, and Jamba® most recently followed suit with the April 2021 launch of the Impossible™ Handwich. Impossible Sausage had its worldwide premiere in Asia in September 2020, when it was introduced in approximately 200 coffee shop locations in Hong Kong.

 Impossible Sausage: Still the Best of the Wurst

Impossible Sausage was developed for retail to complement any meal at any time of day. Impossible Sausage (Savory) is completely seasoned with a herbaceous and peppery bite, encapsulating all of the greatest flavors associated with breakfast sausage and perfect to mix with a traditional morning omelet or scramble. Impossible Sausage (Spicy) packs a punch with hints of chili and cayenne pepper for those wishing to add some heat to their meals. Not only does Impossible Sausage taste like ground pork sausage, but it also sizzles and cooks well, making it a simple component to incorporate into any recipe or meal that calls for animal-derived sausage.

Impossible Sausage is hormone and antibiotic-free and a good source of protein, including 7g of protein every 56g serving. Furthermore, Impossible Sausage includes 0g Trans Fat and 0mg Cholesterol per 56g serving (9g Total Fat, 4g Saturated Fat) and is a good source of Niacin, Vitamin B12, and Zinc.
