Quicksilver Scientific will help Truss CBD USA to produce a range of water-soluble cannabis products with three different formulations.
Fremont, CA:Cannabidiol (CBD), a popular hemp plant derivative touted as a cure-all for almost any ailment, is only approved by federal regulators to treat a few critical illnesses, but its popularity is rapidly expanding. Quicksilver Scientific, a prominent nutritional supplement maker, has perfected the nanoemulsion technology that powers the zero-calorie, zero-sugar Veryvell beverages during the last decade. Quicksilvers works by encasing nano-sized CBD particles in water-soluble spheres that are so small that they adsorb immediately. As a result, the body has unprecedented transparency, faster absorption, and increased bioavailability.
The cooperation between Quicksilvers and Truss CBD USA is the result of a successful multi-year collaboration between the two companies in Canada. Quicksilvers nanoemulsion delivery technique was used to create a profitable range of water-soluble cannabis products with premium aesthetics and dispersibility, as well as the most efficacious, consistent effect for consumers.
Veryvells' new line of non-alcoholic, adaptogenic, hemp-derived CBD sparkling waters and unflavored beverage drops is powered by Quicksilver Scientific's patent-pending nanoemulsion delivery technology. Veryvell was first released to Colorado consumers in 2020 by Truss CBD USA, a joint venture between Molson Coors and HEXO Cannabis. Truss announced the expansion of the product into 16 other states, including Alaska, Arkansas, Connecticut, Florida, Iowa, Kentucky, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, and West Virginia, following a successful debut in Colorado.
“Quicksilver also applied its extensive experience developing nutraceutical protocols to contribute to the development of Veryvell’s three unique formulations, each intended to deliver an entourage of distinctive benefits. The three blends include Focus (grapefruit and tarragon with ginseng and guarana), Mind & Body (strawberry and hibiscus with ashwagandha and elderberry) and Unwind (blueberry and lavender flavors with ashwagandha and L-Theanine).”
“Veryvells expansion further solidifies Molson Coors ambitious leap into the non-alcoholic market,” comments David Durkee, Ph.D., Vice President of New Ventures. “We’re pleased that Quicksilvers premium delivery technology serves as the linchpin in providing Veryvell consumers with a best-in-class CBD beverage experience.”
