SōRSE Clear is available in isolation and obeys all the primary safety and testing protocols, GMP, GFSI, FSMA, and COA. It comprises safe ingredients that are vegan and allergen-free. This clear emulsion can be used in all product applications, including nootropics, beverages, edibles, topicals, and nutraceuticals.
FREMONT, CA: The premier water-soluble CBD, terpene, and hemp, emulsion provider for infused CPG brands, SōRSE Technology, announced its creation of SōRSE Clear, a stable, transparent emulsion with a minimal sensory profile. The product made its formal debut at SōRSE’s inaugural SoRSE Summit that was exclusively held for its partners and is available immediately for product evaluation.
Clear emulsions are hard to develop due to the method of getting refractive indexes to match. A refractive index marks the bending of a ray of light through mediums, with oil droplets consistently dispersed, reflecting more light. When diverse refractive indexes mix together, the outcome is a cloudy emulsion. Forming a cloudy emulsion turn clear takes months of experimentation to match the refractive indexes of the oil and water phases.
“2020 has been a year of innovation for SōRSE Technology, and bringing a stable, clear emulsion with minimal sensory impact to market is proof of that,” commented Howard Lee, CEO, SōRSE. “I’m proud of the work our R&D team did to make this happen. It’s a game-changer for the industry.

SōRSE Clear features several benefits for product developers, containing stability, safety, scalability, bioavailability, enhanced sensory experience, accurate dosing, homogeneity, and seamless integration.
“I’m excited that we are adding a clear emulsion to our core portfolio; this will give formulators and product developers the ability to innovate and to cater to the needs within the global food and beverage market,” said Donna Wamsley, Director of Research and Analytics, SōRSE. “This unique technology has excellent clarity, minimal sensory properties, and stability.”
