Additionally, a closure system that allows for variable oxygen transfer rates is one of the packaging and shipping advancements. With it, winemakers can regulate the speed of maturation inside the bottle and avoid cork taint. It also ensures consistency in terms of quality.
Once bottles depart the winery's premises, the live tracking system keeps an eye on transportation conditions such as temperature and humidity. Producers may resolve difficulties in real-time, ensuring that the integrity of the wine is maintained throughout the supply chain.
