Restaurant owners are using an online restaurant food ordering system to streamline the delivery process.
FREMONT, CA: Several food companies are increasingly adopting food ordering systems and look at creating their own food ordering and delivery app. People that are impacted by a software development project are referred to as "stakeholders." Some of the stakeholders are customers, delivery partners, and restaurant owners.
Customers: Mobile App and Web App
Customers should be able to use both the website and the mobile app while ordering food online. In the case of a mobile app, hybrid app creation can be used to produce an app that operates on both Android and iOS platforms.
1. Sign Up
Customers can sign up using their mobile number and password, which will make the process easy.
2. Make Order
Allowing customers to place orders is the key feature of every online ordering system. Customers can add or delete items, adjust amounts, and add unique details.
3. Online Payments
Multiple payment options, like cash, card, and so on, should be available on the platform. Stripe and Paypal are the most frequently used payment gateways. It may differ from one country to another.
Restaurant Owners (Administrator): Mobile App and Web App
To control the menus and orders, the administrator has their secure web-based portal.
1. Sign In
By using an email address and password, the administrator can sign into the portal safely.
2. Manage Menus
The administrator can monitor the orders using the ordering systems. They can add, delete, and upgrade categories and menus.
3. Manage Orders
Many of the best online restaurant food ordering systems also have a smartphone app for collecting and handling orders. The administrator may accept or decline orders, view sales reports, and receive real-time updates about new orders using the mobile app.
Delivery Partners: Mobile App
Every order that the delivery partners distribute to customers earns them money. They serve as a middleman for consumers and restaurants. Here are some of the features of a distribution partner's mobile app.
1. Orders Notifications
Once the restaurant accepts the orders, the delivery partners are notified.
2. Manage Orders
They have the option of accepting or declining delivery requests. Based on the size of the delivery zones, restaurants may have multiple delivery partners who will help them deliver during peak hours.
3. Weekly Earnings
They can view their weekly earnings and receive payments from the restaurant.
